Information we collect

When you contact us, we receive the information you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, event details, and message. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address along with newsletter consent evidence, including the time and source of the request and confirmation status.

For contact submissions, we create a SHA-256-derived identifier from the source IP address. We use this identifier only for rate limiting and abuse prevention, not to identify you. Its database record is scheduled to expire one to two hours after it is created, based on the hourly rate-limit TTL. Amazon DynamoDB removes expired records asynchronously.

How we use information

We use this information to answer inquiries, manage event or venue requests, deliver newsletters you requested, maintain subscription and suppression records, protect our services, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any newsletter.

Website content and service providers

Our site embeds public Instagram content provided by Meta through an Elfsight widget. When the widget loads or you interact with it, these embedded providers may receive browser, device, and interaction data under their own privacy policies. Good Judy's does not control how Meta or Elfsight handles that data. Sanity manages authored website content, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) processes and stores website form, newsletter, and site data on our behalf. These providers process information to support the services we use.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including maintaining consent and unsubscribe records, resolving requests, protecting the service, and satisfying legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email jesse@good-judys.com.
